PARKING INFORMATION

Because there may be a walk from parking to the start/finish line please arrive before 7:30 a.m.

No parking will be allowed on any grassy area next to Winfrey Point. We have been warned that parking citations may be issued if anyone chooses to ignore this ban.

There is only space for about 300 cars at Winfrey Point. Those that know Winfrey Point and the lake will know other spots that will work for parking. For those unfamiliar with the area we will have parking staff on hand and they will direct you down to Winfrey. You can park on these streets just across Garland Rd at Emerald Isle: Lunar Drive, Angora Street, San Fernando, There will parking also at Lakeside Baptist church in their parking lot. There are also a few spots at the Legal Directories building. We ask you to use caution with parking. Always look for tow signs. Do not park at Barbecs Restaurant nor at any of the retail stores at Garland and Emerald Isle. We assume no responsibility for towed cars.
