Age Group Awards - The Texas Half:

Awards will be given to the Overall and Masters male and female finisher plus the top three in the following age groups: 18 & under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

Age Group Awards - The Texas 5k:

Awards to the Overall and Masters Male and Female finisher plus the top three finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

The Texas Half Finisher Medals:

Everyone crossing the finish line in The Texas Half will receive a unique finisher medal with the event logo.

ChampionChip Timing:

The Texas Half will use the computerized ChampionChip timing system, which records your time precisely and quickly from start to finish. Because this is still a race and the first one back wins, awards and results will be based on gun time. A loaner chip will be given to you at the event race morning. You may use your own ChampionChip, however make sure it is entered on your entry form and it is your responsibility to ensure that it matches your bib number. If you do not wear a chip, you will not be timed and will not be included in any results. All loaner chips must be surrendered at the finish line. You will be responsible for any lost chip.

Water Stations:

Water and Gatorade will be available at water stations. We will have aid stations every two miles. 

Event T-shirts:

We will have a long/sleeved event T-shirts for all signed up for The Texas Half & 5k by February 7, 2009.
